Thank you so much for the great info and above all the great pics. I'm growing a small amount of corn for the first time in my life and so many sites describe what the corn is supposed to look like when ready for harvest but you are the only one that shows a picture of it just harvested. My 10 year old would eat corn every day if I gave it to him so I'm really excited. wish me luck!

Someone else mentioned using cloth wipes. I thought I would give my 2 cents about those. I use the cheapo white wash cloths you can buy in bulk at Walmart or grocery stores, folded to fit it a wipes tub and covered in water. No soap necessary. If you feel like you need it though, a squirt of castile soap and a few drops of lavender essential oil make a good combination. I'm going to make some more "gentle" wipes out of some old undershirts my husband has worn holes in. Just cut to the size you want and soak in same mixture. Wash with diapers. I LOVE cloth diapers, and I'm using the "old fashioned" flat diapers and rubber pants! BTW... my pack of wash clothes for wipes was about $3 for 18. I've washed them so many times, I'm probably down to about $0.008 per use, and have atleast another year to use them for DD2, plus reuse for future children.

I just stumbled upon your blog via google reader's search feature. I love your challenge. It's easy to get caught up in the tasks of motherhood and forget to really 'be' a mommy. Today has been a fun day of playing on the floor with kiddos in my house - it's great fun!
