Happy With What We HAVE

Check out my very first guest post over at Happy to be at Home!  In the next few weeks I’ll be expanding my thoughts (right here!) on how you REALLY CAN live thrive on one income if you have the right attitude and are careful about how you manage your money.  Join me!  I’d like to hear your thoughts, too!

  1. I saw your post over at Happy to be at home and had to check out your blog. I stay home with our 4 kids and my dh is a teacher. He started off with a small salary and we moved cross country to increase it. It is still nothing compared to the corporate world, but we make do. I don’t want to brag, but we just paid cash for a new to us car in June. People say all the time that it can’t be done, but it can, I am living proof and so are you. I look forward to reading more of your blog.

  2. I saw your post over at Happy to be at Home and had to come over here. My husband and I have been married a little over six months and our goal is to be financially stable on a single salary within five years. You are proof it can be done. There are many choices we have to make, but in the end, it will be such a blessing for our family. For now, we’re making the choices to set us up to be in that position, including paying off debt and saving, saving, saving before we have kids. It’s so encouraging to me to see people like you and be able to read your story and learn. Thank you.

  3. This is exactly what my husband and I are working on right now. I am staying home with our daughter and money is tight. We are constantly working on ways to thrive and not just live.
